Das Programm
... ist für Einsteiger und Profis kreiert.
Das Atelier, in dem internationale Künstler ihre Werke verwirklichen hat durch das Meer und die nahe liegenden Marmor-Steinbrüche ein besonderes Flaer. Je nach Größe stehen 1- 2 Marmorblöcke sowie das Werkzeug (leihweise) zu Verfügung. Profiwerkzeug kann auch günstig erworben werden.
Ich stehe für die individuelle Auseinandersetzung und technischer Hilfestellung am Stein zu Verfügung. Jeder hat die Möglichkeit seine eigene Formsprache zu finden und somit seiner Skulptur ihren eigenen Charakter zu verleihen.
Zwischen den Arbeitszeiten besteht die Möglichkeit zu Strandgängen und Ausflügen.
Ein Tagesausflug führt in die Marmorbrüche, ins Steinbruchmuseum und in das „Museo del Marmo“.

Der Ort
Italien – Toscana – Carrara
Carrara, Weltstadt des Marmors, liegt am ligurischen Meer und bietet Sandstrände sowie die Apuanischen Alpen, wo der Marmor abgebaut wird.

Kosten:
Bildhauer-Workshop incl. Atelier, Marmorstein (den eine Person tragen kann), Leih-Werkzeug und Skulpturentransport bis ins Atelier Hamburg: 1 Woche (7 Arbeitstage) 580.- Euro
Die Unterkunft der vergangenen Jahre “Turimar” existiert nicht mehr. Eine neues und günstiges Hotel mit B&B steht in Aussicht. Es können auch eigentändig und unabhängig vom Kurs Zimmer gebucht werden.

SCULPTURING WORKSHOP IN CARRARA/ITALY

The program -
for these courses has been created for professional sculptors as well as for beginners.
The atelier where artists from different countries come to realise their ideas and create their works of art is known beyond the frontiers of Italy and of Germany. The near by Michelangelo quarries give it a special flair. One or two marble boulders - depending on the size - are put at the disposal of each participant of the course. Each participant may loan or even buy the necessary tools at a favourable price.
Norbert Jäger will personally help the participants with individual and technical problems. Every one has the possibility to find his own approach to the marble and to give his sculpture its peculiar character.
In between the working hours the participants will have time to take a promenade along the shore or go for excursions. A whole day excursion will take the group to visit the marble quarries, the Museum of the quarries and the "Museo del Marmo".
The place -
Carrara/Toscana - Italy
Carrara, called the World Capital of marble, is situated at the ligurian part of the Mediterranean sea. The town is known for its lovely shore and for the Alps of Apua, where the marble is won.
